First Day of School for Eli!!!

CANNOT believe my sweet Eli is old enough to be in SCHOOL!  Because of the timing of when we moved back to North Carolina and the changing laws regarding Pre-K, I wasn't able to get him enrolled in Public Free Pre-K.  I was talking about this to his Dad, and he had the idea of my Mom teaching him since she hadn't found a teaching position yet, and that he would pay her to do it since I can't afford to right now!  My Mom loved the idea since she was already planning on having a daycare in her home, so we set out on getting all the supplies and books ready.  Then another friend needed someone to teach their son kindergarten, so now Mom is teaching Eli Abeka K-4 and Andrew Abeka K-5.  The upstairs living room is all decorated like a little schoolroom!  Too cute!  Eli was so very excited to start school! School is from 8:30-12:00 Monday-Friday, so hopefully Eli won't get too overwhelmed with a full day!

I somehow forgot to take pictures of the "schoolroom", but I'll get one later this afternoon! :)  Here are 2 of my sweet boy all ready!
