I wanted to take the kids and DO something today, but was at a loss for what to do. I happened upon a link to the City of Shelby and turns out they had a 4th of July event at the Park with 5 or 6 bouncy houses INDOORS (This is a MUST in this ridiculous heat!) and for $3 per person you could bounce to your hearts content as well as ride the Carousel and the Train unlimited amounts of time!
We had so much fun and even though poor Reagan was scared to death at the SIGHT of the carousel horses, she eventually succumbed to my pressure and tried it and of course LOVED it!

wow, $3 that is super cheap! :) looks like a fun day! :) it rained most of the day here, but we enjoyed just staying at home.
